Go into Downtown SAn Luis and ask for directions to Los Osos. Go to Russian River Ave.(off of Central) and go east until you see a sign that reads "Mantano De Oro" go to the park and when you get to the windy part of the road with lots of Eucalyptus trees, take a left on the PG&E utility road(it is labeled) its about 3 more miles and you will see big cement collumns, these store Nuclear waste go anothe 1/2 mile, and park at the North lot of Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power plant. Not made up - This spot is fun you can also get there by hiking along the shoreline but it took us 2 hours but it was well worth the hike. A fun left on low tide and a barreling right on high tide

bull poop - this is complete bull shit. there is no road that the public can access to get beyond PG&E's fence. that is why it is fenced off so people can't get in...
