Pull into the parking lot for San Elijo State Park CLOSEST TO THE CAMPGROUNDS if you dont have a pass you'll need to go to the campgrounds to get a day pass or park onthe street walk thruogh the gate into the park and walk down the nearest stair case. Pack Lightly because its a big stair case.
There is about 200 Trillion staircases in the San Elijo camp grounds so make sure you walk down the most NORTHERN one or else you will be sad.

I think it is a very nice little spot that is safe and mellow and easy to get good at with out 50 other surfers watching you. It is good for longboarding and short boarding and the people there are always friendly or tourists JUST LIKE YOU. :)

Yeah, what he said.. This break is all right, and it is just called San Elijo or going northward, Turtles, then Swamis. It does get crowed as well. Courtney needs to go sponge at Torrey Pines..
