from san francisco , north 101 to highway 1 north drive about 1.5 hrs to pt reyes station make a left on sir francis drake blvd drive another 1/2 hr 45min make right on north beach rd follow to parking lot

and not to fun besides for getting pounded on the way out, the beach is so long and steep there is a massive under tow to get pulled down into if you happen to stack on a wave.. an average of 2 children drown here a year mostly beacuse there' parents dont realize how much current there is at the edge of the beach, but still...
