To the Local Fort Point Tool - Reading your comment makes me sick. I surfed there (15) years ago on a 6' to 8' day and the place is boring. Try surfing in some of the real spots up and down the cost. Your old, probably not that good of a surfer and masturbate frequently. The place is tourist spot, what are you protecting!!!

To be honest - This is why surfing off the coast of a metropolitan city isn't worth the time. This must be how Long Island surfers act as well, but I shouldn't generalize.

2010 - Don't bother. Only good when it's over ten feet. Not ten, over ten. Otherwise too crowded and only breaks at very low tide. Over ten it's hoolow top to bottom and the crowd drops from 70 to about 20. Sounds great, eh? Do yourself a favor, if it's crowded catch a couple and move on or just take a sweet pic and go south.

Oceanside local. - I'm a San Diegan stationed up north who decided to check this spot out. For those who never surfed this spot, don't go alone. Not the most mellow atmosphere. The locals won't harm you, but the will talk a lot of crap. It is a nice spot. If you can't handle the localism, I recommend OB, Montara(watch out for sharks), or Rockaway(make sure you are in shape). If you are a beginner, stay away from this spot and try Linda Mar in Pacifica.
