I've seen some pretty good surfers there...
but have to admit, it is funny reading the Aussies make fun of them all on the comments to that youtube clip...
Perspective?

Deadmans is constantly being assalted by newcomers trying to break in to the line up.
here's a little advice for you,stay out of the way of the guys who can surf it well and who have the wave dialed in,when you do get a oportunity at a wave,don't blow it,your not going to get many chances and if you choke theres plenty who will either snake you or out position you for whats left.
keep in mind there is alot of people that have been surfing there alot longer than you, and really are not interested in it getting any more crowded,stay out of there way and you won't get yelled at,if you thought you were going to take over or get waves that you haven't put the time in to earn don't even bother going out theres no room for you here if you do want to surf there,then respect and skill will get you some surf.
this is my 20th year surfing the point on a regular basis and I do plenty of screeming at the invaders who have no patence and think there going to bust down the door I distribute my insults equally pro surfer or total beginner the guys I surf with operate on the merrit basis.
give respect and get it in return act like a ass and you will be treated like one there is no other way that its going down.

deadmans is a blast. i remember
cort mast used to take water shots
on his kneeboard/photo machine.
bob wise was doing lay fowards
and the pineapple was in charge.
