werd - This is my go to spot as default. Been goin here for 15 years. Black ball sucks ass during summer, good winter spot. Lame spongers, the old timers (spongers) are cool dont mess with them. Reef is always a slow wave. Beach house can be really fast and throw some short barrels.

T street rocks - I've been going to T-street since before I could walk. This is one of the most consitant beaches I have ever been to. It breaks all over, on all swells, and usually always has a decent ride

no surf - Whats with the surf this summer??? I've lived in sc my whole life and have never seen the surf this bad. Where are the hurricanes??? T-street always seems to have waves, but no latley. Maybe the swells are waiting till september when all the tourist will be gone? I miss the summer of 72 degree water and consitent surf everyday.....

best year in along time - this 04/05 winter surf season was the best in years
for t-street "the reef".
many afternoon sesions with - tides
glassy sea surface and some bombs coming in...
rides from out as far as the second shack on the pier
to past the beach house. did you see me on my blue bonzer
ruling. kids with no patience and old guys with no skill
it's like taking candy from a baby. give repect to the
old local body boarders they have been here since you
where messing in your diapers or before.
negitive low tide + wnw swell + santa ana conditions and
this spot can really shine. can take years to truely
get it wired, some people never do.

T-street isnt exactly what i would call a grand beach, though it does have its days so why hassle anybody about what they ride. im sure there are spongers in SC that charge way harder than you or me. im stand up and would like to read your response to this message. reply ASAP

Attn: Cerf - The idiocy below is all talk. The messages come from people with very little pubic hair. T-street is still and will always be a tolerant spot. I'm a stand up surfer who could care less what one rides. As long as ettiquete is being followed I have no problem with anyone.

- I grew up in San ClImente and paddled out @ T-street for the fist time when i was 5 (im 26 yrs old now and still get in the water almost daily). I have lived all over the world since I moved away from SoCal in '97 (Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Florida, American Samoa, Colorado, Viginia) and taken numerous surf trips (costa rica, panama, indo, mexico -baja and mainland-, hawaii, bahamas, barbados, nor/central cal, outer banks, catalina island, san clemente island, etc etc etc). Im also a bodyboarder. I've noticed that this message board for my home break is filled with sponge hatred. I plan on moving home in a year and a half and cant wait for you little groms to try'n talk sh*t to me when I paddle out. Bring it kiddos. You try'n snake me and you'll be feeling a false crack. Why hate on the core spongers? Dont get me wrong, I hate the weekend warrior flapper inlander kooks just as much as anyone, but I still dont drop in on them. If you talk sh*t to me when i get home, I wont hesitate to introduce you to a fresh black eye. Most stand up surfers are pretty cool, but some of them (like a majority of the ones posted here) are ignorant and cant keep their mouth shut. We all ride waves, we all love warm/clean water, we all like to get barreled, we all love the ocean and hot big tittied blondies. There is no reason that there should be any animosity between spongers and surfers. Also too all you haters, check out a recent sponge DVD. Our tricks are way more acrobatic than surf tricks, well maybe besides Jaime Obrien... that kid rips. Until you can land a backflip or rodeo on a surfboard, keep your mouth shut. See you soon. cerF

I love boogie boarding ! - I went to T Street for the first time a week ago and I had the most fun on my boogie board. I wore my wrist leash and had my flippers and booties. I read about T Street alot and I found the place full of really nice people. There were a lot of kids riding those lost surfboards who yelled at me to keep catching waves with them and riding in front of them. One kid an I became friends because he kept calling me donkey and stuff, which I think is what freindly surf people call each other. I cant wait until I boogie board T Street again, as soon as my belly rash heals, I am going to go there again. Boogie boarding is the best sport ad because not too many people seem to be doing it, I guess that is because it is the hardest way to ride a wave. Standing up looks too easy. So fellas, thanks for riding waves with me and thank you to whoever took and hid my stuff because there was that guy on the beach stealing things. I am sorry I missed the guy who stashed my things before he left. When I come back you can show me where you hid my towel and keys and wallet and stuff. Thanks again for holding it until I come back. You guys will recognize me because I am the guy with the bright yellow boogie board.

its ok - so streets a pretty chill place if u just wanna go screw around or invent some tricks. If you think your hardcore at spongin or surfin you're an idiot. Pro bodyboarder Brian Wise grew up there with it as his home break, Chris Monroe and the alt surf team occasionaly hit it up, and legend Jay Reale goes there very often. There has to be a reason why theese people ride this break. Just go there on a big NW swell and you will see. So basically mid and low tides will be the best for sponging and about all tides for longboarding and shortboarding. If u want a good beginner -experienced break this is it.
