This spot only seems to work on those super windy days. It is one of those onshore hollow waves where it is easy to eat sand. Really only worthwhile in the summer afternoons when the surf is not working or blown out in moss.
hmmmm
this wave sucks and the kyakers will run you over anyways. yer better off going and taking a shit in the portapotty. then go for a drive and watch the mexicans in the fields being poisoned by methyl bromide!

ok wave
surfed it today....offshore wind.....seemed super tide sensitive. on the low tide it was 2-3feet(knee/waist). while the north jetty and the dunes were 4-6 with well overhead sets....there were 3 tow teams out whipping guys into big barrels at the dunes. I went for a surf anyways and once the tide started pushing, me and a couple other guys scored some fun waist to shoulder high + waves. it is kind of a wierd wave that horseshoes on the little sandbar. Some good barrels and hard turns were had on these little zippers. Overall it was fun, but I seriously doubt that it ever gets close to as good as the other side of the harbor.
