Difficult paddle out with rips. Paddle vigorously back to lineup after ride or else end up in difficult shorebreak. Best at 3 to 6 feet.
Miles of empty unridden surf if you make it to the lineup. Surf when every other break is flat.
Temperamental, often closed out. Magnificient drops.

Will never be crowded - Manchester is an example of why there will always be uncrowded surf at some spot in Nor Cal. Remote, fickle, very difficult paddle out, and miles and miles of empty beach break. There are innumerable beach breaks like this up here.
