Get on PCH, North or South, which ever way your coming from. You'll hit Topanga Canyon Road, then you'll see a parking lot near the beach. Park there. Then a short walk to the point.
Park your car on PCH. You have to pay to park in the parking lot.

This spot is great for all levels of surfers. The wave is great. You can longboard, shortboard, and basically do anything with the word "board" at this beach.
topanga locals
Surfed this morning 12-8-07 and had fun. I surfed a little north of the main peak in front of the rivermouth, about head high. There were around 10 locals out and they were all pretty cool. One guy even called me into a nice set wave that he had position on!!!! Thanks guys!!!!!

I hadn't surfed Topanga for a couple months, but when did that old guy become such an obnoxious loudmouth. I wanted to tell him he was a mediocre longboarder who should shut the f*ck up and stop bitching and pretending to regulate. I'm sure once it gets head high or more he's gonna be sitting way out on the shoulder dropping in on people or throwing his board... go back to Sunset and regulate that.
