 Additional Information

Atmosphere

Extremely crowded, absolutely no ettiquette. Be prepared to be dropped in on 10 million times. You can bring any board here... although the 1st point is the most forgiving of the breaks and I prefer to call it the "kiddie pool." The real breaks here are 3rd point and 2nd point. It's a faster take off, and can get sectiony. Best if you know how to pump your board.

General

It's a good spot.. especially in summer time. I just don't like the crowds. I also get sick of how many people tell me I brought too small of a board because I ride a 5'11" and 6'0" to the BU, and I do just fine. Honestly, a longboard is best for a ankle high, windswell wave.

Magic Malibu - Malibu has sand and cobblestone bottom, three point breaks, a pier, a creek and a lagoon.  The outer point has kelp beds and is a hard breaking fast tube that grinds over the reef.  The middle break is a peak than runs into a bowl that

Kalani at the Bu? - It had been a while since this Oxnard boy has surfed the Bu.  Given the fact that I work 15 minutes away, sometimes it's easy just to hit up second point rather than drive home and make the glass off.  Besides, if you live in Oxnard, yo

MY NEMESIS - Who is the guy with the really fat face and ponytail? He often rides a huge paddleboard on small days and takes every other wave. He is my nemesis. GOD HOW I HATE HIM!!!
