Additional Information
Overcrowded mediocre point break. Slow rolling lines good for longboarders and those that would just like to cruise. Pretty spot and for some strange reason water that is colder than beaches to the north and south. On winter swells it can get some juice but can't hold much size. The outside takeoff is right next to a large rock that can become a nightmare when crowded.

Crowded at Dawn -
Hit the water at 5:15 - Still dark. It was a bit bigger than I anticipated, but still not the 4-6 that Surflie.com was hyping. Got two good waves, snapped my leash, and went to get another from the car. When I got back, all of Malibu had arrived, w

Paddled out at Secos on my way home from work. I normally like to ride my 7'9" here but I only had my shortboard with me. Oh well, I paddled out into a fairly crowdedline-up. then again...3 people at Leo can be crowded de

TOO MUCH FN KELP - Came back to Leo and brought my 7'9" fun board this time. Caught alot more waves, and it was breaking outside the rock so it was challenging being the only goofyfooter sitting the deepest on the point. I actually bailed just to t

leo carillo - This video speaks volumes: http://www.vimeo.com/4039832.
What it fails to capture is the narrow take off zone, which accommodates about three people. Works best at high-tide on a 4-6 ft south – there is a hollow section off the top of the point then. NW wind blows offshore here. A regular kook-fest on most days, if it's breaking at all.
