suicidal spongehumper - dude, thanks for giving us a brief course on what it takes to become a SEAL. FYI, nobody cares.

Why?

Because swabbies are dorks. And boogieboarding swabs are bigger dorks. And just because you're a SEAL only means you "drank the Kool-Aid". You probably think W is a great hero.

- Anyone willing to (privately) share additional information/GPS coordinates on waves around san clemente island? I fish a fair amount out there with my sons, and would like to do some quiet exploration.
Thank you.

I call BS - You did NOT get punched by a Navy SeAL! Granted I wasn't their, but If you knew anything about them or the requirements for selection, then you would never even think of something so idiotic. Does it sound cool or believable when you tell your freinds or do they smell your BS too? The truth is that most guys spend a minimum of two years of active duty before they can even apply to the list, which you need a recommendation from a C.O. That's Commanding Officer, dork! to even get on the waiting list. My point is that it takes a LOT to become a Navy SeAL, more than your imagination can grasp, obviously. And your telling us they'de throw it all away and ask for a nice "Court Marshall" and a "Dishonorable Discharge" just so they can get even for you spraying them on their break. I'm sure they get to have way more fun than that!

dont exagerate! - na mate, you don't have photos of it 20+! that's like 30- 40 ft face!........i think you mean 20ftface(12ft wave size)! duhhhhh............

Punched - Last time I was @ Buds I hit the lip soooo hard I sprayed polluted salt water all over a group of seals eating lunch in their dingy. I'll never Forget the face of that Navy Seal that punched me in the face.

surf sci - Buds camp (birdshits)is a great wave but not the best wave on the island. Everything has to be perfect for Buds to break. The best wave on the island is called A Frames. I have pictures of it 20' plus and PERFECT.

if you want to know - if you want to know where these spots are, email me at johnnytsunami45@yahoo.com by the way, all the spots on sci are not for beginners, so if you're core enough to make out there and surf the waves, go for it! i'll see you out there

Where is Birdshits? - Where can I find the location of Birdshits on SCI. Is there a website with a map of SCI and location of Birdshits?

By anonymous , 04-06-2003

hey prime minister - Those waves were from my camera, during my time living on the island. Perhaps you might be right in regards to the extra security, but you have never seen daggers go off and never dropped in on a huge terminals wall and worried about hitting kelp at 20 MPH and then worry about too much west that will push you into almost certain death (rocks). Hawaiian style waves in California for thos ewho want it!

There's no Surf on San Clemente - there aint no surf on san clemente island. if you think you're gonna go there, forget it! the navy will kick you out of there faster than george bush kicking out saddam of iraq! there's no waves anyway, all these pictures aren't from san clemente island, there of santa cruz. SC island is owned by the navy, and there's a war going on, they won't let you near the island, and they've got bigger guns than you! don't try it, there's nothing there anyway.
