Take the logging roads from Lake Cowichan. Turn left to the Pachina reserve, right after the sign for Pacific Rim park, about 10 min before Bamfield, where you will find a campground and the beach.

Similar to Port Renfrew, with a river mouth on the North end, but breaks all along the beach.
Great spot to camp out for a weekend and bring your board along.

yeah - Ya, like I said, its similar to Renfrew in that it needs that west swell. Not the place you would drive to just to go surfing, but if you're goin for a camp or to hike the trails, etc. its worth bringing your board. It was maybe consistent 4ft when I was there in April.

pachina - this place picks up nothing, you need either a realllly big west swell, or something outta the south. was crap when i was there but iv heard it peels in the chest to head high range.
