Tofino locals - Few professing "locals" are even from there, yet they think they own the beaches. Two is often a crowd.

? - I think that if localism was half as bad as people try and make it out to be, in places like this, web sites like this would not exist... I am embaresed I ever bought a computer. I'm not going to let it steal my scense of adventure, do the same and boycot this crap.

canadians rock! - well, i am from holland, living in Bali, but with a canadian girlfriend, your girls are the coolest and whenever i come one day to her place, i hope i can surf at such wonderfull locations!

shitty place - the trek out there is real dangerous and once u get there the surf is terrible, the locals waxed my car! its hard to get that shit off!

A waste of time... - Worked on the Island for a couple of years. Surfed all the popular breaks from north to south and was mostly skunked, terrorized by aggro locals, or nearly froze to death in friggin' cold waters. Not worth the drive!!! Not to mention those absurd ferry prices!
