Todd's Left is better for Nubes-GO THERE!
Realize that when you are dropping in on people and dinging their boards with your 10'NSP in the winter is not cool.Please do others a favour and try learning at Todd's left right in front of the parking lot or even better learn how to stand up in the summer at least before paddling your dumb ass's out in febuary to annoy the hell out of people that just want to get their waves and get out.Thats everywhere not just moose.I wouldn't worry about Lance lol its the donkeys that travel from NB,ONT,QEB dont know shit about surfing and get in the way so they can go back to their surfless provinces and be all extreme to their friends.
Winter surfing is not something to play with so smartin up!

Best Break
i'd say this is probably the best break around HRM because of its safe depth of water and its clean, big breaks on good days. its not much fun most days but when the forecast is right, this can be an AWESOME spot to easily get in and out without being brutalized by the waves.

Nova Scotia Surfers (there are only about 5 real surfers who could hold their own in Hawaii or any real scene)and the waves here for the most part are small and SUCK ....very weak and inconsistent not to mention cold.Seriously save your self the frustration ,,go somewhere you can actually score some good surf.
It's not called moose rocks either.. its "The Moose"

hey guys how r ya? i was born in aust but my whole family is canadian. im a bit of an outcast lol.i travel to canada all the time to and ive surfed this spot on numerous occasions. being from the goldy, we have some great surf spots and i think moose rocks is a pretty good spot. wen it pumps in u get some nice peaks and on the low tide it sucks up a bit. njoy mosse rocks and make it last, dont let localism get the worst of u. catch ya round guys!
