nothing to brag about - ok, well i live in Dubai and yes there is surf, not much and nothing to boast about like you might in Hawaii, but its good enough to learn with and good enough to have a laugh with friends, and they now actually host a surf competition and have an organisation called surf Dubai, which well tell you theres surf
Twat - Yes BBB, i agree, i'm from the UK, but I've done my trips abroad, ive been to cape town, had a blast there, was gonna go to Bali this summer, but commitments are keeping me away from it :( so dont make us to be some stupid kooks
jacks an idiot - we do get surf here you twat jus not as big as hawaii you prably jus came at the wrong time of year.
Jack as in ass? - Yeah the surf's not that great here but we do get it. You came at the wrong time of year anyway. You make out we don't know better but the fact is we moved here from other countries for work reasons. Most surfers her are from SA , Australia, NZ, US, and UK. So we know that waves are better elsewhere. We make do with what we have and organise trips to places where there are good waves so don't make out we are kooks you dickless twat!
NO, there is no surf in UAE - I'm a real surfer, unlike the guy who has been posting about all the hot spots in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on this web site. I am from Hawaii, live in Indo. Surfing is my life. I spent 6 weeks in UAE, in Dubai, on business recently. The people there are great, and it is a good place to visit otherwise. Surf........? This excellent web site should not be abused by people like this, with BS tales of surf the does not exist. I notice there are three or four different spots listed on this web site for the UAE. Trust me mates, UAE is on the frickin Gulf of Arabia, there IS no surf there. Just look at your atlas and anybody with the slightest knowledge of surf/swell mechanics will easily see that this is not an ocean with waves, it's basically a big frickin lake with occasional wind chop. There IS an artificial wave at the water park, called Wild Wadi, for boogie bording only. Have to admit it is fun, but it is not surfig, not by a long shot.
