On the road from Salalah to the Yemen border, turn down to Rahkyut for a mission drive. Road is currently being developed, so should make the drive alot easier.
An amazing, isolated area. Beautiful scenery and friendly locals in the village. Every day in the monsoon there will be surf with a constant 1-2 knot onshore. However, usually clean and glassy.
Surfing Rakhyut
Very difficult to find this wave. I surfed it in april 1999. I saw dolphins so I wonder if sharks can be around this beautiful place...this paradise...
