newgale just back from 3 days in pembroke, i have been a 'beginner' surfer for 5yrs...had lessons at bells, north shore, waikiki, byron bay, surfers, fistral, somewhere in ireland, lanzarote, and numerous sessions in all those places, sat and watched in envy at waimea, pipe etc...the last 3 days for me beats the lot...i'm not clued up enough to know a good left from a bad right or whatever...and i can see that for the experienced surfer maybe newgale is not the most ripping ever...but for an outsider it was fun easy and no hassle from locals...the perfect place to practice...breaks all over the beach...i hired a 9ft bic and wetty and had most rides i've ever had in 2 days and am the most stoked i've ever been...the shop and camp site are near perfect and friendly...all you guys out there wanting to learn a bit of surfing get off your asses and pay newgale a visit...i may never be a good surfer cos i am old fat and forty already but i have never enjoyed a 'sport' 'activity' 'lifestyle' (whichever) as much in my life....surfing is swell.

Surfing North Wales? I´m a bodyboarder from Spain. I´m going to live near North Wales for a certain time. Which are the main spots around there if there are any, and are them pretty consistent? I´ve only heard about Hells Mouth. TA!!
