useless debate
There is definitely a wave in Swansea Bay but why would you surf it? My house overlooks the Bay and so I look out everyday to see what happening their and in the winter when it get to about 6-7ft in Gen there is a wave in three places at High when it's offshore. There's one at the Jetty, one at the sea wall close to Ripples and one at Blackpill near the poisonous river mouth. All three are fickle, all three break about once a year and only the Jetty ever gets above a foot. Good luck people, I'm sure it'll make a nice photo but there’s always better places.

ok... on the day of that picture... if you went right to the wall at the east end of the bay at high tide there would have been a good wave
