Have read various comments from above and cant believe we are talking about the same Southerndown i know! Yes this is a very attractive spot but the surf is pathetic for the vast majority of the year.. west is best!

A good place to surf
A good option for Cardiff based surfers picks up loads of swell and usually has uncrowded peaks. Beautiful sunsets and quality waves.

one of the best in the world, just ask margo, he hung out with a local and said the guy surfed better than occy even though he was twice the size. underground man, underground....................................
