Huge car park but can be expensive in the summer.
A few different spots to surf along the beach and a couple past the sand bar in you fancy a paddle.
Sand bar blocks the swell at low tide but a decent wave can break over it at high tide with a good ground swell.

The atmosphere is great and the locals are always friendly and relaxed. Its always really clean as it is part of the national trust.

Worth a go if you don't fancy the shore dump down the road and certainly a better looking spot than Shore Road or Bracklesham.
Watch out for the windsurfers and swimmers though. Can be a bit of a pain!

classic surf - went down to the witterings on sunday 30/12/07 took my twiny fin and it was great really nice clean glassy could of been a bit bigger but it was sweet. saw chris evans down ther and whoever he was with she was hot

Slate a break - You cant bad mouth a break cos it wasnt working when you rocked up. On the plus side i'm sure the locals are fully dialed in so they get it when it's working. I work nearby and one day i will try it out, i have promised myself!
