Wear Bay Folkestone known as the Warren. Long walk down cliff path from car park at top of cliff. Alternatively Park in wear bay road near the warren, walk through little switzaland holiday park or find own way down cliff.
Rarely surfed, rocky bottom and bad pollution from sewage outlet at copt point. Long rides can be had from copt point into wear bay. Access is difficult. Small waves at low tide on rocky reef, can work on heavier channel swells with rides possible round copt point near the sewage outlet. Is protected from faul force of westerly winds by copt point headland. Can also work on big North easterly, easterly swells from the north sea.
