Hey Dont knock it look at the swell to build anytime there is a low pressure stuck in the NORTH SEA I grew up there and have seen and surfed head high wave but when it gets that big we were all in the water not scared and sitting on the beach taking pics Also a really good windsurfing beach on a S -SW wind on a half tide Besides the girls are topless in the summer so the view is always good ."warm winds" Steve Cheesewright

Waves for all
Viking bay is a classic longboard wave at around 1-3ft. With strong N/NE winds it can produce some clean waves up to 5ft. These are mainly in the winter.

It looks pretty lame from the photos, especially 'the big swell'. True take what you can get, but be realistic.

Will it ever work again?
When was the last time people surfed Broadstairs?
Usually there are a few good sessions in the spring but unless I have missed it big time its been the worst spring ever, and I cant even remember a decent northerly in the winter. Anyone had any decent sessions??
