I thought surfers were supposed to be chilled out!I think some of you need to think about why you are doing this.If it's to vent rage, then you may as well race around the streets in your cars, beeping at people who are slower than you. The real philosophy of surfing is to be somewhere wild, away from the rat race. The beginners are people that want to do that too. You can't own a piece of the sea, it moves with the tide all the time. You are not a local, there is only one surfing community, the one that is in the sea. Yes the beginners need to look out for the more experienced surfers, but in turn the locals have to respect the beginners, otherwise they are missing the whole point.

birling
birling gap is probably the sh*tist spot ever known to man apart from ye old faithful tidemills...the only good thing about this spot is the pub next to it. there are handryers there and its nice to get your willy warm after a surf! your better off staying at home and selling yourself on the internet to truy and save money to go somewhere in the world where there is a wave. this spot is probably in the most un-exposed place to swell in the whols world apart from the thames. thanks.....
