Drive to Kimmeridge from Wareham, the bay is the big bay shaped thing as you look out to sea ;0)

No matter how excited you are about the swell - drive slowly through the village - people live here, and no wave is worth a kids life.

And do pay at the gate, its not much, but it is someone's livelihood!! The 'bad-boy' surfer stereotype is for muppets and kooks only.

 Additional Information

Park either in the top or bottom car park. The bay is a wicked underrated wave. surf it in onshore gales and large swells. It peaks way out back and what follows is a fun left or righthander (depends what ya fancy) for about 100m then cutback and ride the other way for 100m

Greetings from down west! - This spot looks good. Most likely will never surf it as I live in Cornwall, I live 100 metres from my very nice little break, no localism down here either. I think localism is just the odd one or two people who generally have anger issues and no regard for surfing etiquette and wouldn't know what the word meant, most likely got excluded from school for swearing or something like that. The sort of person who insists on riding their surfboard in between the red and yellows even when asked not to. Would like to check this wave out but I imagine if it's going off here then there may well be better places down my way. Still if I'm ever in the area then I'll be sure to check it out. I wouldn't have a clue as to what it needs to get it going so proberbly wouldn't get it good. Photo's of the bench look good though. Greeting from Cornwall.
