Comment: Thurso East Dec 1990 This photo was taken from the pier using a large telephoto lens. The wave was approximately 20quote27 on the face (no kidding!). The swell was so big on this day that there was a wave peaking on the reef half a mile out (it can be seen in the background). Needless to say, there was no one out this day!
