WINTER SURFING AT ANDERBY CREEK The North Sea, on shore wind that makes it practically impossible to get the board to the water and particullarly well placed sand bars right now conspire to create very surfable waves at Anderby Creek. I wish you could have been here!!!!

sandlands is OK to be honest if its working on the east coast yorkswill be better than lincs but if you are in the areaand the wind has been N/NE/E to build a swell thereare some reasonable beach breaks - best location depends on the shifting sandbars - currently sandilands is pretty good- water is a bit brown at low tide but it is NOT pollution - SOS is a blue flag beach !

Re Anderby Creek I checked out Anderby Creek a on a small swell a couple of weekends ago now, and it looked like there could be a good left hander there. It's a really pleasant spot and it's right that the water is brown because of the fine sediments suspened within the water, rather than heavy polution ... but what is that pipe going out to sea there?

ANDERBY CREEK SURFING You think you have Sutton to yourself. Try Anderby Creek between Sandilands and Chapel Piont it gets more waves than any other break on the East coast, it cleaner and more exposed. Sand bars create surfable waves in Autumn through to spring. There in a car park, tap, toilets, and a cafe and **** all else. This weekend Oct 2006 forecasting big swell. Get on it!!

hazzard its not true the water is one of the cleanest in britain! It is a clay/mud sea bottom that turns the water this colour!
