Additional Surfing Infos
This spot is pretty secret so if you do get any hassle from the locals just be prepared to defend yourself. This spot rarely works but when it does it is my favourite spot in the south west. Sick barrels on a swell over 8ft and light northerlies. If Bantham is head high then this wave will be at least waist-chest high due to the reef. You can see it when you get to hallsands so just paddle over.
  Overview
Atmosphere The atmosphere at this spot is super competitive, and localism can be a problem, if in doubt don't go in and if you do be polite and you should be ok.

hallsands
sounds like a sweet spot. I might surf there if the locals dont kill me!! Also, I always thought Hallsands is an east facing beach (just north of start point) so would be flat if bantham had waves.....?
