Park in Westward HO! and try to walk southerly along the shore for about as long as it takes to see an epic wave of your choice. Alternatively get a map and work your way to Greencliff farm in Greencliff near Abbotsham. Follow the coast path until you strike gold.
Once a great spot (when quiet) But now regularly overcrowded and at times dangerous as a result.
Not much cop in a south westerly as stated before and requires some solid swell to get going (not really a swell puller)
Quality waves if you can get any in a lineup that ranges from competitive and moody to competitive and busy.

Additional Information
This area is like a very large beach like watergate except the beach is boulder based and there is a very large undulating wave cut platform which is exposed at low tide. As this is covered the reef will start to work in different ways, there are choices of numerous A frame peaks as well as left and right point breaks there are all sorts of peaks from the dangerous spitters to the fat dross. This place is well worth a look just to see it happen. It is quite sheltered but picks up a lot of swell nonetheless. The abrupt finish of the platform means the waves come in with power and speed and at high tide there is a boulder closeout to contend with.

Atmosphere
This is very East Coast in appearance. It is pretty bleak and a weird place to have so close to us here. It is a bitch to find and if you get in trouble you will be doing it by yourself.

General
Go check it, The best waves in the S.W. RIGHTHANDERS TOO!!
Not really a good spot on a SW as most peaks are open to the wind and end up choppy and at times unpredicatble

DJ - Got my car vandalised just checking the spot the other day. It was 8ft in croyde and flat round there. Can't believe I bothered with the 1hr walk there and back to check this out, only to have wax all over my windscreen and doors. Whats to protect? It must only break on super rare swells if any.
