If you are such a good local surfer you would know who the so called "GIMP" is in the grey wetsuit. You have embaressed yourself whoever this is.

Whoaaaa
Whats your problem mate! The guy just adds a bit of information which is easily accesible from anywhere, just take the "Surfing Europe Book" and that gives you enough information for you to score it. So what if you have surfed it alot if you were a good enough surfer to you would want to know about it. Youre the idiot matey.

Idiot
You are such a fool the reason nobody knows what they are talking about is so spots don't get over exposed, along comes Mr extremeboard shots with this big camera and his grey wetsuited gimp, game over. A lot of people have been surfing this place for longer than you have been on this planet next time it's on i'll be see you in the water?

Little bit of info
None of you really know what your on about in terms of Clovelly. Its basically the go to place when Lynmouth is too big. The best surfers around will be on it though when its good so getting waves is difficult. There are different sections of the wave, which IS a left point break nothin else, but probably one of the best in Britain when its on, but i'm not going to give too much information as in my eyes it is still a secret spot as there is no correct information on the wave whihc is easily accesible. Pictures are to found on extremeboardshots.com which is labled secret spot, it's one of the latest sessions in North Devon on there so its not hard to find, on observing these I think you will admit to the quality of the wave. Anyway good luck on scoring it! See you out there!!

when to surf clovelly
Hi, i have had some pretty good surf's at clovelly - works when main beaches are about head high but only ever works on the push from about mid tide or a bit lees than mid but on the push, can have an ok wave, quite small and gutless- surf right about 200 yards from the harbour to the right, cheers

Slovelly
There is no wave at clovelly, its not a beach break - because there is no beach, no swell gets in there because it is at the complete wrong angle, if there is a 2ft gail blown slop collapsing onto the cliff endge and boulders - it will be rammed with locals with names like touristkiller and headmurderer and tireripper

believe it my friend
ahhh i remember the day like twas yesterday. the perfect storm they called it, a rare combination of conditions resulting in a hurricane of unrivalled ferocity. about the time marky mark and that bloke out of ER were sinking to the bottom of the ocean, our minds turned to clovelly and her promised treasures. oh what a sight it was to behold as we gazed along the points. It was like Ulu's, then cloudbreak, then mundaka, then g-land and finally desert point lined up one after the other - all 10ft plus!!! "My god," we said to ourselves "the wannasurf prophecy has come true!" We surfed ourselves silly that day (well for a couple hours at lowtide), the single greatest session of surfing ever seen on these fair shores. alas when we returned the next day, we were greeted by flatness - the curse of clovelly. "did it really happened?" we asked. and as we gazed out to sea i swear we could hear the faint crys of marky and george carried on the wind. tis said that to this day, if you listen real careful like, and if the conditions are just right, you can still hear their wails as they warn of coming swell. and if you're lucky enough to hear this supernatural phenomon, then grab your slickest gun my friend, for clovelly shall surely be 10ft plus!!!!
