local morons
my friends car has been waxed twice now. all those pricks in the car park shouting abuse at us. they don't even turn up when it's big (where were they all last weekend?)

they're petty, childish and cowards. rather than kicking water at us, making duck noises and waxing our cars why not confront us directly?

oh right, cos they're so hard aren't they.

'respect the locals' people write. why should we? when they are blatant morons. don't these muppets surf anywhere else? its a godo wave but christ its not that good!

The aggro is all caused by a bunch of kids who have seen Point Break too many times. If you are over 15, there's no problem with the locals.
Only ones who give you hassle are inbreds with a shared brain cell.

im an aussie who surfed portowen in 2000 when i was 13. ive read the comments on this place, 'st agnes' and this localism stuff is a joke! why protect cold dirty water and a soft surf spot? these so called local crew wouldnt know what to do with a good wave by what i saw of the standard of english surfer's. cant wait to get back too sheffield, vist family and come a tear the arse out of your waves. localism is SH!T !
