lost bodyboard yeah i no, i had my absolutly pro bodyboard nicked from carbis bay the other day - it was pink and said i love fat people on the bottom, it cost me a whole £3.99 from jims cash and carry in praa sands so it does mean something to me. i also had my ripcurl raptor 5/4 nicked which cost me £249. the board is very important so please keep an eye out but the wetsuit doesnt matter, its not important. cheers

local of the area What spoon wrote the write up on this spot, in semi storms hawkes is toodangerous to even go near so you have to surf in the middle or the left hand side of the beach, and as for never being red-flagged, how can a beach be flagged if it doesnt even have a lifeguard on it.

sick just wait for this weekend then, will be sick barrels at the wedge at high tide and hawkes will have a sick left at low tide

devious wave don't be fooled by this wave. It often looks good from up by the train tracks but when you get down there in your full winter kit it's actually 2ft onshore crap!

An amazing break which is worth going in for when it is amazing, is capable of breaking bords and the wedge can give mutantable barrels on a medium sized swell. Worth going in if there is a half decent swell at high tide, has really good launch ramps and breaks frequently in the winter

why? again why bother putting this on the site, Hawks point has more renown than this yet its not on the site. you might as well put porthminster on as well because thats flat all year too, its another break that only people living in carbs and st ives will ever catch working with a cheeky little wedge and some fun backwash off the cliffs. Alright for some eh?

mmm Does work sometimes.Only on huge swells, or wind swells, at high tide. I have also surfed some fun shorie here. You have to live here to get a good surf because it works so rarely.

Once in a blue moon I have surfed head high shorebreak here. It was very heavy and sucky!Only ever go there at very high tide when Hawks point is overhead, which isnt often.
