Characteristics |

West Cornwall surfing is centred around Newquay, which has the reputation of being the longest established surf town in the UK. The extreme West Cornwall is a granitic landmass, without the extensive beaches which characterise the northern shores of Devon and Cornwall. A great area for climbers, it is less reputed for surf spots. However, certain gems exist both on the mainland and on the Scilly Isles. |
