Take Crackington Haven turn south of bude off A39 and get to bottom of village. Follow signs for high cliff (cornwalls highest cliffs). Park up by national trust signs and admire the view.
This is a munting walk down the cliff hence no crowds, Worth a check as it picks up the same swell as the main spots. There is also a wicked inside out barrel spitting its way across a point to the left(park further on)this is a beauty and also empty usually. If you dont do crowds and can handle the walk go for it.Usual north cornwall beachbreak stuff, There are a few choice slabs around with an epic right hand point/reef hybrid about 1/4 mile to the south, marked rusey point on maps. This can get very hollow and is pretty much the heaviest barrel in the UK. There is a parking spot for this one further along but this only works-is visible at a lowish tide. This parking spot is a wide verge with a gateway and stile on the other side of the road, If you can see an epic barrel you are in the right place, If not go up to the cliff edge and check out the huge cracks in the field, It is pretty awesome.

you haven't watched this place enough. the maze of rocks and reefs down there can throw up some short lived but epic bars.

Good Wave
This is one of many small Cornish beaches that although esposed to the swell never has enough sand for any decent banks to form and is just a shapeless closeout, I dont know why it is given any good reports on this site. Way better places up towards Bude where I live.
