to john John, you've had the general area, i think its about time you got searching, no respect for people who want to surf these spots but wont put in the effort.....

About time someone gave directions Someone that has ACTUALLY surfed this spot please give directions. Its never going to get crowded anyway - Brits dont charge. It will just be Saffas and Ozzies coming over from London to show the rest hows its done.

not a picture of "not the real box" Well done to matey who added photo 6, and with the well constructed caption: "This is the pencannow point, not breaking, but this is the location Here it actually is, not breaking but the place it is" Besides talking like Yoda, the poor fool also seems unable to read a map. He decided to travel to somewhere where he obviously isn't a local, then posted a "reveal all" picture of the wave (or rather of no waves at all). And after all that hassle, he didn't even go to the right spot hahahahaha. I truly hope he checks the place on a regular basis, hoping for that magic day when he too can surf "The Box." If only he'd kept walking........ off the cliff.

dreaming Being brought up between both being in the UK and in Australia i can safely say i have sampled both waves in their prime. How anyone can say this box matches either margs or rotto is dreaming. Margs is just solid power and you are eating ledge if you get caught in side, Rotto is hardcore on a big swell. Thought i was gonna die on one particular session. Not only do you have serious power to contend with but the locals are a bit hardcore too. That being the fishy variety with damn big teeth.

Aight Joao G.,You should be happy with a load of cooks coming to the beaches of Portugal. The competition will mean that post surf feeds will be wicked. If you are going to surf here you will get drilled. Hard to get into.Spread the love.

Keep your crowd up there Complaining about crowds? Here in Portugal we have a bit of a problem with your cooks coming in to "learn" how to surf. Please don't come, stay there at your spots, there is no more space for you. Algarve has a big problem, everibody want's to earn money with surf, the surf schools are dumping hundreds of your cooks in our beaches and one of these days there will be no more "clean" beaches for freesurf. Greed is going to end with the real surf spirit, share the waves but not for money.
