Go exploring!!
Haha , Went exploring as you call it for 5 years round this coast and others- sure there other spots but they are marginal at best- if they where any good there would be a car park and ice cream van ther all the time coz thats what you get most other places.
The deal is this- you either live near a spot make the sacrifice then are pissed off when people dont have courtesy in the water around you or you come form a big city and complain when locals have a go at you.
Neither attitude is right or wrong- but waht is wrong is when you try and justify web sites like this that a re just pandering to the coperate surfing world of try hards and wannebes. Next time you are surfing ask yourself how many people in the weater can actually surf- hit the lip vertically and with confidence not waste waves and if the you then think you cannot do any of these things then you are in the way go somewhere else learn to surf somewhere else or better still dont surf at all. people in this country have an inflated attitude towards their own surfing ability. Sure there are going to people who challenge this message but you are probably the people who cant surf very well and are frustrated.

And don't blame the masses for going to Diggorys. The people of Great Britian are working longer hours than ever, have more responsabilities and greater debts than ever, and many are at the end of their rope. It's just so bloody stressful at times. If the people manage to get an extra day off to go to the beach on Holiday, don't be cruel to them- they alrady suffer enough in the workaday world. If you want uncrowded waves, go to Penhale, it's just up the way!

Another spoiled spot
Have been surfing this break on and off for years. Hardly a secret spot but it used to be a nice chilled out summer break with few people. Now it's always busy. Full of people with no consideration for anyone else. Drop-ins, littering, leaving gates open. Think we all need to think how our actions impact on others a bit more.

This place is a nice beach but the waves are shit. before anyone pipes up about a having to surf it all the time, I have and its still shite, sure theres a wedge but there are wedges every where.
