end of my surf days
What a consistent bay, it keeps firing out beauts. hence spending alot of my time there and also having the worst surfing moment of my life there, got caught in the strongest rip ive ever been in. took me out for nearly an hour an half. and theres a hell of alot of rocks blocking you in, so i find that i had to more or less paddle straight coz of the direction of the rip. nice bay though and some good surf.

Bad Karma
That is a bit of a generalisation about people from Plymouth isn't it. How can someone who believes in respect etc put a generalisation on the whole of Plymouth surfers just because of a few bad experiences. I think you need to calm down Alan and look at the larger picture here.

How can someone from Plymouth pull a wheelie in a carpark in North Devon with a surfboard in toe? Plymouth is on the border of Cornwall so it's closer to Cornwall than Devon breaks, so anyone from Plymouth knows that if they walk over the bridge to Saltash (Cornwall), all of a sudden they're no longer Emmit. All a bit silly really! It's just the label of being just those few feet outside of Cornwall that make all the difference.Where should beginners with a lack of control learn to surf? Click and shout when they start to cut on front, it can work well. Also, get out to the waves where they can't get to, if it's summer it's crap anyway.
