GUERNSEY i live in guernsey- and surf, its a little disapointing most of the time, the big swell is in the winter - yet the sea is very damn cold - worth going in for tho. In the summer, you need to time the tides, its best on a rising tide, or just after high tide. The waves are smaller than most, but perfect for all boards, gentle waves, with the ability for you to push yourself. And for the more daring, we have reefs that you get awesome surf on, just might wreck yourself or your board - as ive snapped mine out there.definitely worth a visit , i say, yet the surf is not reliable enough to come just for it. but the island is very beautiful, and the beach life is awesome.

Monty is a C@ck Now now girls a myth it aint but it's not on enough to look. I think I'll wait till my next aus trip and surf Jakes. Warmer, better, more consistent and less primadonnas.Sorry Mike De G who is core and surf's this spot (yep he's done the rounds at Nias, etc)

mugger Maybe you expect waves in the c.i when the rest of the atlantic is flat or damn near it.I haven't even botherd checking for swell. Most people tend to go to indo to get their waves not the c.i.Come over and play when their's a solid swell running ,no then again p.off

Swell!! Who's the kook! If you read what the bloke wrote then you would know it needs to good sized swell and a southerly wind to surf it..! Seeing as it's been virtually flat with northerly winds for about the last 3 weeks or so then it's not surprising you didn't surf it. Come back when a solid swell is running then you'll know what this place is all about.
