the story of gorey
i was surfin dwn there with slatedog and taj couple of days ago and 12 ft sets rollin in. laird hamilton came out he piked it so i took of backwards on my 14ft noserider while playin the ukelele and making bean crock. i did a couple of airs one was about 40 ft high so wen i pulled of slater said mate youve got a shark bitting your face and i was like reli hav i see i punched him in the face and hit him with a bat. then he took it one step to far and got his sweatyu dorothy gooch out and rubbed it on my nase so i turned round and kacked him and ev1 seen his pecker. so i paddled back out and made a cup of tea and had a couple more waves then did a hangten backwards while cookin a full english then i went home

ITS NO RUBBISH!
well its partly rubbish, the wave doesnt break on the beach it breaks round the back of the castle on a reef when theres a huge swell. the picture is fake its probably of goldies. the castles wave is much sicker than that!!! they say sometimes ghosts from the castle come 2 haunt u whilst ur in the barrel.

this spot sucks
thats absolute rubbish above, the only wave u see down there is slop from massive winds. this bay never catches any decent swell as its on the wrong side of the island and theres no way that picture is from gorey. go to st ouens if your serious.

ok, ive lived in gorey now, well forever, and the beach is my favourite place...but never in my life have i seen any surf down there! you folks are crazy...what are you surfing down there?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??
and if im missing out - id like to know! its a trek to t ouens one the bus!

castles
forget about castles, secrets, is the place to be! great waves. but the locals tend to be a bit protective of there little beauties. can get busy at certain times.

Heno's 'choc and banana options' sponsored surf challenge

Bit late in the day but good to see the Cougar is still around. There was a good one at Leven early one morning but only three of us saw it.
