Alderney - Braye (Mount Hale Side) Access
This break is situated on the far right hand side of Alderney's main beach, and harbour - Braye. Its sits at the foot of Mount Hale and peals off over the rocky and sandy bottom. Its rarely a surfable break, but when the swell and the winds are right, its a nice little ride.

Easily accessed for the main town with a 5 min walk to the harbour and 10 min walk along the coast road to the set of benches above the beach. You can park your car here to.

(Usually only surfed by the more experienced of alderney's surfers/spongers, namely because of its rocky bed.)

Additional Surfing Infos
Not exactly a predictable wave. Never holds a swell too big but if you go down you go down into rocks, so watch that. Should be fun if youre lucky enough to witness a good day. Not as consistent as Corblets.....which itself is very inconsistent!

If the tide turns there may be rips.
  Overview
Atmosphere The atmosphere is actually pretty open. Theres not many people around (there over the other side of the beach), and the occasional car drives past, but its generally just you and the rocks! The surfers opn the island are friendly and usually pretty helpful, and afterwards you can simply head up to the pub and chillax!

You wont catch this breaking ong on a nice day - you'll usually have to wait for a nice storm so the weather wont be so cheery!
General Nice place, not consistant enough to be planned for. If its there then go for it!
