Head for Newcastle on the A1 or A19 then head towards Alnwick (still on A1) turn off and head towards Embleton. Once at Embleton head towards Golf course park up and walk over sand dunes.
Has great potential only surfed it once (this week) on about should high surf. There are right and left breaks on the beach and a right with a closing out left on the rocks/reef at the southern end of the beach (on the day I was there).

Great fun must go again on a bigger day to get a better idea.
