Photoshop All the pictures from Åsa was made in photoshop. The actual numer the wave would get if rated correctly is -4. So don´t bother. I´ll just hang out there by myself smoking a duby doo watching the flat water. I´m a swedish surfer that must be trusted. I never bull.

WARNING!!! BEWARE!!! I am a Swede living near Asa and have been surfing there when it goes off. This means its very fun compare to nothing at all. The wave is a wind wave, works only in strong onshore conditions. It has no power but it is surfable for a long ride. The right rate for this spot is 1 which is good to be in Sweden. There is no other spot in Sweden that can have a higher grade than 1 in a world comparing rating list. The reason why it has a 3 is because most swedish surfers are fucking kooks!!! Loves to talk bullshit and acctually believs in what they are bulling about. Never trust a swedish surfer!!!! Never ever! Translation list: Swedish: 6feet wave = english: 2 feet. Swedish: number 3 = english: number 1 or 0. swedish: powerfull = english: soft.

no way 3 star I checked some of the surf out in Sweden and I haven't seen anything like 3 star rated.. I mean shit compare this here to beach breaks in Hossegor, Portugal etc.. is a true joke. I would say they are 3 scandinavian stars...Thom

Don't go ! It is a joke, this place is rated with 3 stars it is not worth even one, the only time you get anything ridable is during the winter when it is blowing 25 m/s so it is a pice of shit place. /Fredde

surfsup hey! to all you foreign guys checking in on this forum, remember that the waves on the pictures are really uncommon... just going down to Åsa and hope for waves are just crazy. you need som freakin crazy weather before anything happens. a fun wave when it does though.

another local bodyboarder Tjoooo!!Im a bodyboarder from Gothemburg whos been riding for.. well not very long. A good bodyboard is pretty much impossible to get in sweden. Order from another country like the uk if you want something good. However, in a shop called Surfers Paradise in Apelviken, Varberg you can get a crappy bodyboard that i think you can stick with here a little while before ordering.Hope i´ll see some bodyboarders out there in Åsa, were not many so we need to grow in numbers and stick together. Why not join SBA - Swedish Bodyboarding Assosiation??? Mail me and i can get you in. You´ll then have the opportunity to come along on surftrips and join us in events and more.Hope I´ll see you out there!!/Kim
