Photo #2 This spot is not Deba...obviously. It's a spot about 2KMs up the road just before the town of Mutriku. Locals know it but it's uncommon to see visiting surfers. I surfed it a few times while I was living in San Sebastian. It can be a rather intense spot. Swell can come up quickly, shifty sets, and always very steep drops. Just to make things worse there is a dramatically strong lateral current that can zoom down towards Deba. Get ready to paddel!

this is not Roca Puta Roca Puta is near there, in the terms of Zumaia, but this is Deba. The break is in the right of the beach and it takes a lot of water and size. The beach is funny too, and you could take waves 0,5m to 2,5-3m

This is not Roca Puta Roca Puta is Roca Puta and Deba is Deba. And Ibon, and other big wave riders who have the guts and the skill, ride both. The comment is right and describes the wave that can be seen from the main road, in the rocks at the right side of the beach. Or are you a local that dont want this great wave to be known?

oh my god The real name of this spot is Orrua(who said that?),in spanish "La roca puta".If you´re there in an epic session, you could find Ibon Amatriain, real owner of this wave of madness. The access is not Deba.Between Getaria and Zumaia and in front of a fish-factory.Not try it.Just look.
