The left is along a rock on the left side of this small beach (look at the pictures). The best size is around 1.5 m. They are also classic beach breaks (right and left) on the other side. This spot has a long established surfing community.

Can get a little crowded at weekends, so as with anywhere in the world, show respect to the locals and follow basic surfing ethics... you might even make some new friends!

Tapia forever
I am a surfer who tavelel europe now for more than 16 years and i was in tapia for the last 10 so i just can say this is a special place with better waves than most surfers know and there is a great surfcamp now for 8 years the Surfhouse great camp, nice people a must go!!!!See you in the water the GROM

i was there for the pro junior latst year,the waves were verry bad en SMALLi come back this year for the contest ,but hope for betther conditions!!!

well, tapia is a very nice place all the time, although august and july arenot the best months. you can be lucky and get a couple of huge days, but i would recommed to go there in september.My recommendation is, dont go only to tapia, go to gijon, el mongol, xago, and little beaches around tapia, you'll have a blastpeace out, and have fun this summer
