San Telmo Access
This spot is in the Jerez de la Frontera´s territory, between Rota and Puerto de Sta. Maria (on the Cadiz Bay). You have to take the road from San Telmo town to Rota. The spot is near Las Redes.

This spot is one of the most epic in all the Andalucia's coast. It's on the Atlantic side, in the beautiful city called Jerez de la Frontera, this is a big city , it has more than 200.000 hab., so you will never have any problem to get there. Once you are on Jerez you only have to ask for Playa de San Telmo or Playa de Xerez, it's on the south of the city in a place called San Telmo too, although it is also knowed as "El Chicle", "MOPU"...

Additional Surfing Infos
Sometimes locals get angry, especially if you don´t respect them. I advise you meet a local before go in water.

The only problem is that the locals and the people who live there don't like tomake friends (You know what I'm talking about, don't you?) and your car can be stolen. This is why this spot is not very visited for all of the of rest Cadiz' surfers. I think you should know a local before you surf this beach.
  Overview
Atmosphere I love this spot especially when the swell comes big and the wind is east-north-east. Good sessions on glassy days.

David
This spot goes right when the swell comes from SW and the tide is more than 1m. The beach is not easy to find, so it will be better to ask the locals. If this beach in not working, then Puerto Sta. María beaches are the best options 'cause it is just 10kms from Xerez.

que triste
Parece que hay gente que no sabe asumir lo que hay.En Jerez o Xerez no hay playa y mas vale que no vallas mucho por San Telmo preguntando por la playa por que se van a reir de ti. Some peolpe are ill. In Xerez or Jerez there´s not beaches and don´t go for San Telmo ( In Jerez ) asking for the beach because the people joking about you. Jerez in on the winelands 30 o 40kms from the beach.
