Be careful - Hi,
there's a real problem of theft here, surfers have to make carguard... The pic gets more crowded and the atmosphere is less cool. It's a pity!

3/2 wetsuit - i was there a lot of times in winter. a 3/2 wetsuit is enough

beware - park your car in the town, not at the top of the hill. theft is common, remember this is the drug-port for Cadiz, dont leave anything of value in your car. The line-up is getting more crowded and there is definetly more tension in the water. but cool when bigger.

water temp? temperatura del agua? - What is the water temperature off Andalucia en Jan, Feb, March, etc? What kind of wetsuit is needed? Gloves, hat?

yerbabuena is perfect - hi out there.
i spent whole summer in southern portugal and cought loads of epic days for sure, and in late may (?) me and my bro made a little trip to the barbate area, because a sufficient swell was forecasted. it is a really nice area/landscape and especially the set-up at yerbabuena is killer! we didnt really knew where it was, so we stopped at one of the parkinglots in the forest and just made our way towards the cliff. amazing!
we caught some really nice waves the next days, first in yerbabuena, later as the swell decreased again in canos de meca. we were lucky with our car, nothing happened and also the locals were quite freindly. come with a cool attitude, take your rubbish and everything will be fine, as like everywhere else!

when...? - is the best time to surf in barbate yerba buena etc? Is there any swell in the summer. I dont mean big swell, but surfable nice small waves. i would apprciate any comment soon, because i am planning a trip there.

don´t have my deck but wan to ride here - Hello,

I am a canadian surfer looking for some warm temps but I didn´´t bring my board along. if I want to surf for a couple of days is there somewhere along the coast that I can rent a board?

luz local - barbate yerbabuena is what everybody is talking about over here, and yerbabuena is a good right if you have sufficient swell. barbate itself doesn´t have that good of a surf.

the beach on tino ( kolybithra ) was full of oil. - hi!!!
i went to tino ( kolybithra )this weekend and the beach was full of oil everywere!!!!!
the water and the waves was good, if you want to go in to the water the only place with out oil is on the center of the beach from the side of the rocks.
