HELP!!! )) - Hello, we are a group of friends, dreaming to become surfers)). We are trying to plan our trip to Portugal. The first week we want to finish in Lisbon. After that We d like to stay somewhere not far from Lisbon for learning to surf. It’ll be between 1 – 10 sept. 2012, for a weak.
Is there a possibility for some persons to reserve only apartments not to study surfing, but to keep the company and to have a good time on the beach together with us?
Please, advise us any surf school for beginners and give us their contacts, or may be even some information about the prices for apartments, board rent and services of the instructor.

Camera kit stolen at Peniche - Warning. When you are in Portugal please dont leave anything in your car even for a short while. The 26 nov we had money and a big camerabag stolen from our Watertech van. The camera is an Canon Eos 1Ds MarkII. With a Canon 28-70 and a Zigma 100-400 lens. Also computer 10 inch, flash and other stuff was stolen. This was 26 november in full daylight in Baleal parking. Please if you have seen or heard anything contact me. I will give a good reward to the one who helps me find the gear. The computer isnt worth much but i have important suff in it.

surf trip, please help - hey all, looking for some advice, im trying to plan a surf trip to portugal,sumwere between april - sept 2011, for a month or two. will be driving down in my self converted camper. not sure of rules, regs, and safety with parking the van at diff places/beaches/roadsides etc?, also not sure where to head to for my surf capabilities (limited to say the least!). would love to find a right hand beach/point break no larger than 4-5ft ish. i know this may be like looking for the preverbial rocking horse dung! but heres hoping someone can help me out, any advise/pointers on any of these subjects will be greatly appreciated, many thanx mart, happy riding

Portugal Surf Trip - Eu sou metade brasileiro e metade português, nunca fui a portugal... setembro vai ser minha primeira trip pra peniche (de onde minha familia é), eu to indo com o intuito de surfar em alguns picos ai- pensei em peniche mesmo, supertubos, belgas e etc.. mas vou estar sozinho e de carro pra fazer as barcas... se alguém tiver interessado em fazer a trip junto - responde esse recado aqui e falamos em breve pra combinar as paradas... ouvi falar mto do crowd em portugal, mas das vezes que falei com o pires e o pessoal não achei os caras nervosos, mto pelo contrario, os bixos já queriam me mostrar onde eram os melhores picos e onde eu tinha que ir...queria saber de voces portugueses?? brazuca/portuga de fé e respeito tmb tem problemas?

rental camper around Lisbon - We (my girlfriend and I) are in desperate search for a basic camper van to rent for our surftrip. Something like you have wicked campers in some other countries.
Do you have or know someone who is willing to rent a van to us ( 13/05/2010 till 24/05/2010 flying on Lisbon)??
Please let us know.
I saw the siestacampers... but I think these beautifull collector items should not travel the coastal tracks to the marvelous surf beaches...but be in a museum.
