park your car in alfagar hotel. you will catch bigger waves where the big cliffs are. but there is sharp rocks and urchins. but next to the cliffs there is a nice sand beach. there is no rocks there but the surfing distance is much shorter.
Overview
Atmosphere
nice and quiet. there is a nice beach bar close (in the hotel) and a good resturante if you walk along the road.
General
if there is a strong south wind it is a good spot. but even then id prefer albufeira which has bigger waves and when the wind has changed direction, the west side of portugal. which has the better surfing beaches.
Where the hell is alfagar?
What do You guys think by entering a new spot like this?
1. located at wrong section (must be placed at algave).
2. lousy description how to get there.
3. only surreptitious advertising for a hotel.
4. no timeframe given when surf is expected (on Sand-Algave thre is rarely surf in summertime)
- please update !!!
