A vila, claro!
Once you live there, any place else around the world can compare to it. Surronded by a world known florest planted by one of the kings at that time, monsieur le rois. D. Dinis, protecting the sands to be dispersed somewhere else besides the beach which gives to all of us kms of sand through all the central coast of Portugal, and obviously the sand bars provides all the spots almost side by side in uncrowded beaches, sounds good no? Nightlife obviously to connect with the locals you should look for the bar "taskinha", take some weed with you invite some of the locals for a smoke and you'll find out more spots for next day or even go on a trip with them, what els can i say, be friendly, and you'll have a memorial time in this town, believe me! I'm travelling around the world now, besides other businesses i look for a perfect wave for me, but the perfect place to be is in Praia Da Vieira, not epic surf surf every day, but I can tell that it's epic every night, so check and let me know...From Armando Verissimo @ Puerto Rico

Allways the right spot!
it's umbelievable and unexpected to find this small and often epic spot in internet, thank you guys. What once was a small secret now is a world know surfing point. Compared to this one you'll find also "la boca" in good old San Juan in Puerto Rico where i was crashing some waves today, and also, but smaller, next to Cocoa Beach in Cape Canaveral, Central Florida, the "Sebastien Inlet". So you got an idea how's my HOMETOWN?. just great isn't it?....

EPIC
Great atmosphere, good waves, a nice night bar owned by Ricardo "Tasquinha bar" where you can see a lot of surf films and drink a cold beer, another nice bar right in front of the sea "caphe caphe", owned Lourenço and his polish girlfriend. A must see. See you next year Praia da Vieira.
