A question - I have some question about this spot....Could you explain the main caractéristic of this spot ( wind direction....) Because I was here 1 year ago and avery days travaled around Peniche but every day it was the same things: NO wave!

mohlo - The local bobyboarders are pussies? Most of them have grown up somewhere around this place and they do not surf supertubes when it is bigger than 4ft. Mohlo leste with 2ft must be a lot of fun with a bodyboard. It look like small kids playing around! You all don´t have any balls!

Moldes - Molho Leste Local - hello
I am local to Molho Leste, having grown up since a child on this beach.
Ever since I remember, molho leste is a Sewer exit into the ocean, it catches untreated waste from ferrel,the fish factory´s ...
Molho is a beach that was used primarily by the villagers around peniche, Serra del rei, atouguia da baleia, ferrel... and was not considered a top of the cream beach .
on the 70´s surf was discovered, and local surf started to developed .Pedro Black, Leopoldo ,joao coelho, luis chaves, were the pionners on this spot.
A couple of years ago, the village of peniche added 15 meters of big rocks , to keep the sweel from entereing the harbour this ruining this wave .
The peak is now very small and this wave only works with certain sweel and wind directions, that i will not say here.
therefore you can understand why this place is heavy on the localism fenomenon .
I have seen, fights on the water, broken boards, and broken car windows on this beach.
On the week before Rip curl the search, i saw foreign people using this wave like it was theirs, not respecting the locals .
So please , i ask You, to respect the locals and refrain from using this wave.
Here in peniche no objections will be made to you from surfing any spot, except Molho leste .
I say again, you can use the beach , but please dont surf here.

That´s why in your country you guys come to portugal, to catch some really nice waves, but if you think like that don´t come to portugal, stay at your home....

Bodyboarders ruin this wave - This is a good wave (possibly best in Peniche) when it works, except for the bodyboarders.
